Terms and Conditions

General

We do our best to ensure that our images accurately represent the item/s you will receive. We shoot our ceramics in natural light and carefully edit the images to achieve the best possible representation of the items. However, due to the vast resolution variances from screen to screen, there may be a subtle variance between what you see online and what you see in person. 

Our work is handcrafted and each piece is unique, even within a set. We celebrate these variations as part of the inherent beauty of handmade goods and hope you do too.

Shipping

We offer shipping for orders within Canada. Your order will be shipped via UPS Standard or Canada Post Expedited Parcel. Made to order items will be shipped within three days of production completion. Tracking information will be provided at time of shipment and orders over $500 require signature.

Our shipping rates are calculated based on your order value as follows:

$0 - $49 Free
$50 - $199 $20
$200 - $499 $30
$500 - $749 $60
$750 - $999 $80
$1,000 - $1,999 10% of your order
$2,000 + Custom rate required

If your order total is over $2,000, your cart will automatically be charged $200 for shipping. Upon receiving the order, we will calculate actual shipping and provide an updated shipping quote. At this time, you have the option to proceed with or cancel your order.

Local Pick Up and Delivery

We offer complimentary delivery on orders placed within a 4km radius of downtown Qualicum Beach. For eligible addresses, an option to select delivery will be available at checkout.

Local pickup is available at the Qualicum Beach Farmer's Market or the Sue Clark Community Space at The Old School House in Qualicum Beach. Once your order is received and produced we will contact you to arrange a pick up time and location.

Returns and Exchanges

We do not accept refunds or exchanges once an item has been picked up or shipped. If you believe your order was fulfilled incorrectly or arrived broken or defective, please contact us at hello@wellclay.com within 5 days of receiving your package. Please include your order number and a photo of the item/s received.

Depending on the item/s, we will either refund your order or coordinate the shipment of a new item. Whether we refund or re-ship is at our discretion.
